About the work ...
Everything here is handmade. Each item may vary a bit from another of the same type and, more importantly, from the listing photo. Variations, improvements in design, etc. can occur on the fly. Also, there are differences in coloring, finish, and look that occur between leather batches. Handmade can also mean minor imperfections, but that's all part of the rustic charm.
IMPORTANT NOTICE for shipments to destinations outside of the United States...
Many countries impose import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), and other fees on goods shipped from the United States.
THESE FEES ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RECIPIENT, AND ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE SHIPPING/HANDLING COST.
Often, the amount of such a fee is dependent upon the value of the item. The exact purchase price (minus shipping/handling) will be on the customs label that appears on the package.
It's up to you, the buyer, to be aware of any such fees. Failure to pay the fees can result in a lost package, which I will be unable to refund.
What's your return policy?
I'm happy to take any non-custom piece back in its original condition for a full refund if you contact me within 14 days of delivery, and return the piece within 21 days of delivery. I regret that I'm unable to refund shipping costs, or pay for your return shipping. I encourage you to place insurance on all return shipments.
Note that I'm not able to take custom orders back for a refund. All sales of custom orders are final. A custom order is any listing that I've set up specifically for you (unless the listing itself lists other return/refund terms), any monogrammed piece, or any piece for which I've altered the listing based on a comment/request that you've made.
